HOST A PRETTY IN PURPLE DAY
Salon professionals are among the most trusted people in a community.
They know all about each other's lives, families, children, jobs and more.
When someone is in an abusive relationship, they need help but may not know
where to turn. Through the Purple Ribbon Council’s Pretty
in Purple Days Campaign and a collaboration with the Salons Against
Domestic Abuse Fund’s Cut It Out, program, local salon professionals
will become more aware of their unique advocacy position to recognize and
respond to the signs of abuse.

VOLUNTEER
Pretty in Purple Days are often supported by local volunteers who help with outreach to potential salon/spa locations, external marketing and with representing the Purple Ribbon Council at their local Pretty in Purple Day. This is a fun and rewarding way to make a difference, build new friendships and participate in a nationwide collaborative movement to cut out domestic abuse! CLICK HERE to volunteer.
ATTEND
Mobilize your friends, co-workers, neighbors, family members and others to join you for a Pretty in Purple Day of pampering. Your manicure, pedicure, facial, massage, hair cut or other service will go a long way in helping to Break the Silence, Break the Cycle and Save Lives!
